Project Description
The LAX Midfield Satellite Terminal is a landmark aviation infrastructure development designed to support Los Angeles International Airport’s long-term growth and international connectivity. Developed as part of LAX’s modernization program, the terminal features a high-capacity satellite concourse connected to the main terminal area via underground passenger tunnels.
The project incorporates advanced structural systems, large-span concourses, integrated MEP services, and passenger-focused amenities to handle increased aircraft movements and international traveler volumes. Built to stringent aviation safety, security, and operational standards, the terminal represents a significant upgrade in airport efficiency, resilience, and passenger experience.
NKC Builders was engaged as a specialist subcontractor on the LAX Midfield Satellite Terminal project, supporting critical construction and delivery packages under the principal contractor.
Our scope of work included:
